Description

What is a Pollinator Pathway and how do you get started? This class offers a practical step by step guide to designing and creating your own pollinator garden. We will identify plants native to our region ideal for nurturing different species and providing both food and habitat. The flower forms, colors, and garden layouts needed to attract and make pollen and nectar accessible will also be addressed. We will outline the best practices of organic and sustainable garden and land care to make even existing spaces friendly to bees and butterflies. Join Stacy Jameson, a life-long educator, garden consultant, and certified organic land care professional, to learn how to “get on the pathway.” Please note that this is not a hands-on workshop.
