Description
Gain confidence & inspiration to develop your own unique style. Start with drawing as a foundation to build on, then watercolor & acrylic painting. Have fun while building & learning basic skills to create your own works of art. Students who enroll in this package class will receive $5 off.
Our supply list is basic. You're welcome to use what you already have! Most items can be purchased locally at Ocean State Job Lot or Joanne's Fabric. An HB or #2 Pencil, Drawing Pad, and Kneaded Eraser is recommended for the drawing portion of this class. Paints, 3 brushes: 6,8, 12 or 14 round are recommended for the watercolor portion. Paints, Paper, 3 brushes: 6, 8 round, 1/2" flat are recommended for the acrylic portion. Other supplies for painting media, containers for water, paper towels, mixing tray or plates should be used.
Instructor, Jody Lynn, is a visual artist specializing in drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting. She has taught fine arts along the Connecticut Shoreline for many years. Her open, approachable style is well known and appreciated by students of all ages. She has studied with many master artists, one-on-one, in drawing, watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels, photography and floral design. www.jodylynn.art
