Description

Introduction to 3D Printing will introduce students to the fundamentals of 3D printing—what it is, how it works, and why it matters. Students will explore the key components of a 3D printer, learn about various real-world applications across industries, and get a hands-on crash course in basic 3D modeling using Google SketchUp. By the end of the course, students will apply their new skills to design and print a custom solution to a problem of their choice—or create something entirely their own.

Material Fee: $5.00 due in exact change the first night of class.
