Description

THIS IS CLASS #6 ONLY OF THE SENIOR SERIES

This six-part educational series is designed for older adults and the adult children who support them. Each session offers practical guidance on key topics related to aging in place, downsizing, home care, and senior living options. Whether you're planning ahead or facing an immediate decision, these workshops will help you make informed choices with confidence and peace of mind.

Participants are welcome to attend any or all sessions—there is no obligation to attend the full series. While the topics are interconnected, each session stands alone and offers valuable insights. Don’t let a scheduling conflict keep you from joining us for the sessions that fit your needs.

Class #6: A well-maintained home is essential for aging in place safely and comfortably. Yet many seniors delay maintenance, risking safety issues and loss of equity. This session empowers seniors and their families to take control of home upkeep and protect one of their most valuable assets.

In this session, you will learn how to:

• Create and follow a home maintenance plan.

• Develop a capital improvement strategy for major repairs.

• Select qualified and cost-effective contractors.

• Manage projects from start to finish with confidence.

By attending this session, you’ll avoid costly repairs, safety hazards, and diminished home value—ensuring your home remains a safe and financially sound place to live.
