Description

My name is Brittany. I currently help manage the East Haven Ice Rink. I played men’s’ hockey all throughout my hockey career as the only woman on a guys’ team. I went to Cushing Academy Prep School in Massachusetts where I had the opportunity to play in the Woman’s Olympics and I chose to stay with the Men’s division where I had an opportunity to play in the Junior Leagues. I was blessed to play alongside NHL players Ryan Bourque (Ray Bourque’s son), Zack Bogosian, and Ty Little. 

I now coach alongside the North Haven High School Boys’ coach and I am a private skating instructor (focusing on power skating). I started late in my hockey career at 12 years old and I want to offer that opportunity to others who want to start late and still experience the sport. I’ve been trained all around the state of Connecticut and Massachusetts and coached by the famous NHL coach Bob Crawford.

My intro course will guide you thru the start of your ice hockey journey wherever that may lead to. I’m here to build adult hockey players who never had the chance as a kid. I look forward to meeting you and I’m excited to begin this next phase of my life starting with the shoreline community!
