Description

Learn knitting basics - casting on, knit and purl stitches, common border stitches and casting off. Compare needle materials (bamboo/wood, plastic and aluminum) to choose your preference.

Materials list: 1 skein worsted weight yarn (light colored); US #8 (5 mm) straight knitting needles - 1 pair each bamboo/wood, plastic and aluminum; spiral notebook or legal pad for notes.
