Learn To Knit 101

Learn knitting basics - casting on, knit and purl stitches, common border stitches and casting off. Compare needle materials (bamboo/wood, plastic and aluminum) to choose your preference.

Materials list: 1 skein worsted weight (#4) acrylic yarn (light colored); US #8 (5 mm) straight knitting needles - 1 pair each bamboo/wood, plastic and aluminum; stitch markers, spiral notebook or legal pad for notes.

Material Fee: $5.00 due in exact change the first night of class.
